This shadow box wall decor holding an antique Chinese lift Ring made of famous Chiese white porcelain. Lift Ring was used as door bell in ancient Chinese. They were usually decorated on front gate doors facing outside. Guests can use the ring to knock the door instead of using hands. Since ancient Chinese yard gate always had a pair of doors together, left door and right door, so the lift ring always came as a pair, one for each door. Lion head means stateliness.
