This wooden frame shadow box wall decor featuring a reproduction of antique brass drink vessel for liquor, styled from Shang Dynasty (16th-11th BC), which is over 3000 years ago. This vessel reproduction is delicately designed and carved. It’s place on an also well-shaped red wood holder. Background is a blue board, written with vertical Chinese calligraphy. The style of the calligraphy is bold yet fluid. It is written by a renowned poet in Song Dynasty (960 – 1279) when he visited the location once is a battleground. The liquor vessel is one of the souvenirs for the great battle and the heroes.

According to history record and archeological discovery, there were dozens kind of vessels except cups we use today. During the Shang dynasty and Zhou dynasty (1122 BC – 256 BC), bronze vessels were popular in the north while porcelain vessels with figures carved debuted in the south China.
